Write for us
Curious News Journal welcomes pitches that help general readers understand how information works: a claim, a source, a piece of evidence, a framing choice or a point of uncertainty.
What to pitch
Propose a focused, evergreen article that explains one useful idea without relying on breaking news, unsupported claims or specialist credentials. We are interested in clear distinctions, careful examples and questions readers can use when they encounter information in the wild.
Make the proposal specific
Tell us the working title, the central point, why a reader would find it useful and how you would support its factual claims. Mention the kinds of sources or examples you would use, any important limitations, and whether the piece has been published elsewhere.
Sending a pitch
Send proposals through the Contact page, selecting the editorial question option and identifying your message as a pitch. Please send a proposal rather than an unsolicited full draft. A submission does not guarantee publication.
A story is a starting point, not the whole picture
We look at the parts that make information easier to assess: its source, its evidence, its framing and the questions still unanswered.
