Partnerships
Curious News Journal considers collaborations that fit its interest in clear, thoughtful reading of information. Editorial independence and transparent labelling are central to any arrangement.
Possible collaborations
We consider relevant educational collaborations, clearly defined editorial projects and partner placements that help readers find material related to the publication's subject. Proposals should explain the intended audience, the subject, the format and what each party would contribute.
Placement and labelling
Partner placements may appear in agreed sections of the website, including recurring placement areas. Every paid, sponsored or partner-supported item is labelled clearly where readers encounter it. Placement does not imply that Curious News Journal has independently verified or endorsed a partner's claims.
Editorial boundaries
Partners cannot buy changes to independent coverage, a favourable conclusion or control over editorial judgement. We may decline proposals that are unclear, misleading, unrelated to the publication or incompatible with these boundaries.
How to propose one
Use the Contact page and select the partnership option. Include the proposed format, subject, intended placement and any material relationship readers would need to understand.
A story is a starting point, not the whole picture
We look at the parts that make information easier to assess: its source, its evidence, its framing and the questions still unanswered.
